WELCOME

We welcome you to the 2017 season of Singing in the Barn. We are looking forward to seeing all of you again, along with your friends. We desire to praise our Lord and bring more souls into the Kingdom. Come and be encouraged in your walk with God.

Our first concert was in 2002. “Singing in the Barn” is a concept inspired by God to make available an opportunity to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ in an informal atmosphere through music, drama, giving, and the Word of God. Everyone is welcome….friends, neighbors, and families to the barn. There is no charge for admission.

Our goal is to provide top professional musicians and actors to encourage us in our walk with God. We believe that “Singing in the Barn” is about bringing our friends, neighbors and loved ones to hear about the Love, Mercy, and Grace of our Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ.

A FEW CHANGES

To simplify our overall operation, food will no longer be provided on the grounds. Our volunteers have been very faithful through the years working to make your experience here at the barn an enjoyable one. Now it is time to allow them the opportunity to fully enjoy each and every concert.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE

When you arrive, you will be directed where to park. Plenty of parking for everyone is available in our front yard. The Barn doors open at 5:30 PM and the concert starts at 6:30 PM. We do not issue tickets for seating. If you want a good seat, you will need to be there when the doors open.

Our barn seating capacity is 1,000 and we are generally able to fill the barn. People come to the barn from PA and other surrounding states. If you are traveling a distance and need accommodations, we have numerous hotels and restaurants. They are located at all three Chambersburg exits on Interstate 81.

You may want to bring along lawn chairs just in case the seats are full. If you do not need them, you can always leave them in your car. As word of Singing in the Barn has reached out to more and more people, the attendance has increased. The barn is not heated or air conditioned. Please dress appropriately for the weather! Also, the barn is handicapped accessible.

WHERE DO THE FUNDS COME FROM?

During the concert, a love offering is received to cover all our expenses. It is through your generous offering that we can provide such outstanding gospel groups. If you make your donation by check, make it payable to “Singing in the Barn, Inc.” Plans for in-door bathroom facilities are in the works. A sand mount and one of the three tanks required have already been installed. We are making progress, but there are more funds needed for this project.

OTHER HELPFUL INFORMATION

For the safety of your pets and comfort of others, we ask that pets are not brought to concerts.

Please, no solicitation of handouts, posters, brochures, tracts, etc. from other organizations.

We believe your experience at Singing in the Barn will impact your Spiritual Growth and encourage you to go out and share the wonderful gospel of Jesus Christ.
